CIHRM & Access Bank LMS Training Platform


1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Learning Management System (LMS) provided by the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management in partnership with Access Bank Plc.

By registering, accessing, or using this platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the LMS.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use this platform.
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

3. User Account Responsibilities

By creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide truthful and up-to-date information
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Notify administrators of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Use of the Platform

You agree to use the LMS solely for lawful and educational purposes. You must not:

  • Share your login credentials with others
  • Copy, distribute, or reproduce course materials without permission
  • Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or disruptive behavior
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or compromise system security

5. Course Enrollment and Access

  • Access to courses is granted upon successful registration and/or payment (if applicable).
  • Course access may be time-limited based on program structure.
  • CIHRM reserves the right to modify course content, schedules, or availability.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the LMS, including:

  • Training materials
  • Videos and presentations
  • Text, graphics, and logos

are the intellectual property of CIHRM and/or its partners and are protected by applicable copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, share, or exploit any content without prior written consent.

7. Certification

  • Certificates will be issued upon successful completion of course requirements.
  • CIHRM reserves the right to withhold certification in cases of misconduct, plagiarism, or non-compliance.
  • Certificates are non-transferable.

8. Fees and Payments (If Applicable)

  • All fees must be paid as required for access to paid programs.
  • Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
  • Discounts (including promotional offers) are subject to specific terms.

9. Data Protection and Privacy

Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By using the LMS, you consent to the collection and processing of your data for training, certification, and administrative purposes.

10. Platform Availability

While we strive to ensure uninterrupted access:

  • The LMS may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance or technical issues
  • We do not guarantee continuous or error-free operation

11. Limitation of Liability

CIHRM and Access Bank shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or opportunities
  • Technical issues beyond reasonable control

Use of the platform is at your own risk.

12. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in misconduct or fraudulent activity
  • Misuse the platform

13. Amendments

CIHRM may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
